Holy guacamole! Weighed in today and my total weight loss is now 22 pounds. If theres anything I have learned it is that making goals actually works! I've always hated goals, the word itself makes me cringe. Call it lack of motivation maybe, even laziness, but ever since I can remember I thought that making goals were a waste of time. My little kindergarten self would look at our 'weekly goal sheet' I would think to myself "Why not just do something if you want it done? Why do I have to actually plan this thing out? It's not even important!" That view never actually changed until about a month ago when I really DID make a legitimate goal for probably the first time in my life. It has not only given me purpose and a real motivation but it has also made my weight loss efforts FUN. Yeah, I just said it, losing weight is fun. Don't give up!
