Progress Pictures 2!

Progress Pictures 2:

So, Since my last pictures I have gained 1 pound? It doesn't seem to want to go away either. Im hoping/praying this is a pound of muscle? I dunno! Anyways, I was about to go swimming when I remembered I had promised some pics, and I am going on vacation tomorrow so I might as well get a 'good' one on here before I go for a week without my shred or Jazzercise :'( I am going to have to figure out some way to catch up. Anyways, any and all POSITIVE feedback is greatly appreciated, if you don't have anything nice to say however please keep those words to yourself. I hope everyone else's 30 DS journey is well on its way :)

Day 8/9

Day Eight & Nine:

I completely forgot to post eight last night so I'm just tying them in together. I am having a fun time trying different combinations of weights in place of other weight exercises even though you are supposed to follow the dvd, I find it mixes things up a bit, tones different muscles, and makes you feel like a BAMF just clearly disobeying Jillian ;) But really, it does make it more interesting. My knees were killing me today so I had to tone down the jumping jacks but I still did all them :D Progress pictures TOMORROW.

Day 7

Day Seven:

I'm at a bit of a loss for words today really...In my own little insignificant existence of being on the planet, it amazes me how it can seem sometimes like the entire universe is against me. Aside from that, I got 'back on track' today I think. I went to Jazzercise at 8 and then went to smoothie king and finished off with day 7. I know I've been missing days and I'm not bored with it or anything, I just cant bring myself to actually begin the process of having to get up... Hope everyone is staying on track with their shred!

Day 6

Day Six:


I've been a slacker... Missed two days of jazzercise AND the shred...I'm finding it tough to stay motivated because my numbers are going back up on the scale and its like, well why am I even trying? I don't quite know why but I've gone up a little over a pound and even though it doesn't seem like much it is still disheartening. Maybe if I focus more and just keep at it I will get to where I want to be. At least I can finally do a good 95% of the moves (minus the lunges with weights) but I am working on it. My only advice today is don't stop just because something gets in your way, go after it 100%.

Rest Day 1

Rest Day:

Yes, I admit defeat. Not complete defeat, only defeat to taking a day off! Your muscles need to have enough time to repair themselves so it has been recommend you take 1 or 2 days off of the week. Now, if you are like me you might say "I don't need a break, I need to do this every day or it wont work." But I would rather risk being 'behind' by a few days in order to prevent injuries which could damage my body for a short period of time or maybe even permanently. I would advise taking at least one day off during each level if only just to prevent injury.

That was me today. It feels great.
